As it stands this area is a public health hazard with frittering asbestos inside. It is another complex issue since the area belongs to Louise but any funds for making it safe should come from 'a new development' and NOT the Wellesley estate I believe. In order to spend any money to make it secure, the CLP should look into alternative uses, subject to Louise's approval. I know there had been a project for a village shop some while ago and that the parish council did not think it was a good idea. It could be anything really from library, to gathering place with tea/coffee and comfy seating, to indoor club space for children (young or teens) or creche or cinema even... BUT a use needs to be found with Louise's approval and the parish council's so that we can get rid of the frittering asbestos as part of its redevelopment.
