Some years ago a group of villagers volunteered to plant daffodils around the village and hopefully they will again enliven our village in the coming weeks. Might it not be an idea to consider another such planting programme with different bulb varieties which would appear at different times of the year?
A wonderful idea Mike. However, I would be reluctant to plant any bulbs in the verges having witnessed a dog walker kicking their dog faeces into the verge. Nice
