I agree with other villagers that the creation of an outdoor meeting area would be great for the health and social cohesion of the village. If this could include not just a children's playground but also a few outdoor gym items, some fixed seating and tables for older villages to stop for a chat, all under the shade of a few beautiful fruit trees in blossom then I think we would be well on our way to bringing together different generations in our village. In terms of securing land for this amenity, would it be possible to use some of the redundant allotments on Summerside with the addition of a pathway to the school football field for out of hours use?
